Well.... The stomach bug has bitten and has it bitten hard. Madison seems to the be the worse one them. She missed school Thursday and Friday and is still down.. She has a really high fever and might have had a bowl of soup in the past three days. Bryant woke us up about 1 this morning and has been sick ever since. We called the pediatrician and he has called them in some medicine. This thing is bad news :O Paul, Kayla, and myself wonder who will be next. We have washed our hands until they are raw. We were told to wash,, wash,,,, wash,,, so we have.
We mourn the loss of Elder Guy Hunt. Elder Hunt passed away yesterday afternoon. He was very blessed to preach several services at Union and was a true man of God. We will miss Brol. Hunt but we know how he had suffered. He truly is in a better place.

Well we are out and about this morning by ourselves. Little man and Madison are at Nana's for the day. The county tournament have been at Skyline all this week. They have all ventured out with us so we are attending the finals by ourselves. Kayla decided to leave that "amazing" boyfriend for a few hours to attend a b'ball game in T'town! I think she said they were playing Kentucky.
We have a great week. Getting ready for state review at school so times are crazy. Madison is going into basketball season full swing. They have won 3 and lost 1 so she is excited. She is still swimming like a little fish. We are so proud of her. She tickles us being the quiet child in the house.
Little man is cuter than ever. He talks non-stop and so plain. He repeats everything he hears. With two older sisters sometimes that is not a good thing. He now tells us not to say "ugly words." At first we were concerned what "ugly" words he was reffering to? We learned that ugle words are any words he is saying at the time and you are not to repeat. They can range from ball to skate. He makes up these songs and those are his words. It is so cute. The babysitter decided that she would try to introduce potty training. HAHAHA... He is not at all interested and neither is his mommy. I know he will have to do it eventually but when {we} are both ready then we will take on that task. He weighs a whopping 23 lbs. I think he may end up being 6'2" but then again we might settle for 5'2" lol.
Kayla is continuing to take her dual enrollment classes through NE. She loves them. She is doing very well in school and is becoming an adult faster than we want her to.......... She keeps telling us that she is REALLY going to decide what she wants to do when she graduates. I am not sure she is really thinking about that. I think she will decide when the time is right! If she wants to live with mom and dad until she is 30 we will be cool with that. :) Ok mom will be cool with that!

Wonderful Times
As I promised... Sunday night updates. We enjoyed the week trying to contain our excitement for the events to take place today. Kayla's boyfriend was baptized today. We are so thankful for his coming forward and joining the church. God is so good and we thank him for all he has done to bless us. So many ways to count.
Little man is doing better. The swelling in his neck has gone down to a small spot. We are thankful for that. He feels better. He even went out to eat with Tysce and Kayla tonight. Mom and Dad decided to make a date for dinner. We went to G'ville to try out the new Wintzells' {not sure on the spelling} and it was great. We both love seafood so much and know the kids do not. Kayla and Tysce offered to babysit so we took them up on it. We got a call to see if they could all go eat at Pizza Hut. Of course we did not care so off they went. They all came in dressed in Alabama. They had even changed Bryant so that he would be in his Alabama. They said he was good for them. We enjoyed our time out as well. We stopped by to check out some boats. We sure would like to have a pontoon. Uncle Steve sold his so we have nothing to play on. Andy, Amanda, Paul and I sure do miss the lake trips. As the children get older we would love to have something to go out on. {A&A} We will begin working on that. ???????????
Speaking of Uncle Steve please pray for Paige {Steve's wife} as she is in the hospital with a severe kidney infection. Not just your everyday infection but severe. She will be there a couple more days.

Basketball Season is Here!!
Well.......Madison had her first game tonight and we WON!!! Yea.. Oh yea, her dad is coaching so good job coach:) The final score 12-11. Oh well a victory. She fell down and hurt her leg but after a good cry she was all better. She is tough. She has moved up to a new level this year. We are no longer playing little league. We are 9-10's now. Much different. The rules are now enforced. We will adjust and get use to it.

Christmas is not over
HA.. We are still celebrating. Family will be coming over tonight for supper and fellowship. We are looking forward to it. We will sing and enjoy hearing Uncle Steve, Paul, John, and Papa play the instruments while other sing. It will be fun...
My little man is better. Lymph nodes are starting to decrease in size so maybe we are looking toward a road of recovery. He had his mommy scared. He got extra hugs and kisses. {we already get 1000 a day} That is the rule around our house. No less!!!!
The girls are doing great. Enjoying being back in school. Kayla's new principal is incorporating a "Win" period for them and she is VERY excited. I think it is awesome and I wished more of our administrators would think like him. I feel this will encourage kids to stay in school. Well we could spend all day on that topic.
Now, we are looking for some pretty weather so we can take some cute pictures. Not that I am going to add them right away.. I am working on getting some things loaded so I can share. I will try to do that this weekend. I know you would like to see some of our Christmas pictures.

Sick Little Man
I would like to ask a very special prayer for Little Man... We came home from school yesterday to find that his little lymph nodes in his neck were very swollen. Off we went to Ped E.R. {They know us by name now.} After two attempts at an IV, CT scan, strep test, and more blood work, they decided it was ......... swollen lymph nodes. OK. I did not need a Dr. to tell me that. We are to go back to our Pediatrician tomorrow to see what we can find. The left side seems to be coming down some but the right is still very enlarged. Please pray for him... God is going to see us through this. His mommy is about to lose it.
Big and Bigger sisters started back to school today. Kayla loves her classes and came home to inform me that she did. Madison said she missed her teacher. That is so sweet. Give her a few years and she will be singing a new song.
I am thankful that Christmas was so sweet and special. School has started back with a bang and we are ready for spring break.

Good Morning
There could be several ways to start this off... We had a great Christmas and Happy New Years. Our children blessed our hearts with smiles, giggles, hugs, and cheer Christmas morning. There is nothing on this earth any more precious than family. If you do not have it, you do not understand what I am talking about. God continues to bless our family beyond belief.
We started off Christmas Eve with my mom and Dad, Tara and Samantha, and Uncle Michael was called in to work. I really cannot understand why people want there power on? It seems that they could just wait:0
Christmas morning we were awaken to find that Santa had visited sometime during the night. Bryant was all smiles. Thomas the Train was more than he could stand. He had so much fun opening presents this year. He jumped right into it. Never missing a beat with a smile or hug...
Madison thought the scooter Santa brought her was awesome. We are thankful for some pretty weather so that she could get out and ride it.
Kayla enjoyed opening all her presents. Santa was very good to her also. She has her own blog now so she can update you on her Christmas surprises.
After a morning of fun at our house, we headed off to Granny and Papa's. We have never been the last to arrive but this year we completed that mission. Everyone was there and ready to eat and get the festivities underway. Bryant was excited to see his cousins but Bowen is so much fun to play with right now. They would fuss and play. They were so cute. Camden and Wilder were passed around until Camden decided he did not like us:) Just kidding... He showed us he does know how to pitch a small fit. He was fine because it did not bother us at all. Remember we have Bryant.....
We enjoyed a birthday party/going back to Washington party for Laura on Thursday night. We visited Aunt Donna's to spend time with Laura before she left to return to Washington D.C. Laura will be just fine and suceed in life. She is a trooper. We wish her all the best.. Happy Birthday.
I cannot end without a final note concerning Christmas. I have ran into several people during the last week and the general comment I hear is......... I enjoyed it {Christmas} but I am glad it is over... It is sad that we are so ready to get back to the everyday rat race and fast paced events that take us away from family. I am sad it is over and wish it could last longer. Christmas is a time for being with your family and truly feeling the presence of God in your life. God is so good and blesses us daily. Do not forget to take time each day to say "thank you" for all he has blessed you with.
We love all of you....
{I promise pictures tomorrow} We are having all of my family over for dinner today, so as soon as I can!
