We are the CHAMPIONS

Sorry for the delay we have been super busy. Our little basketball team has been in playoffs since last Tuesday. We beat three teams and then had to beat the undefeated team two times. GUESS WHAT?????????????????? WE DID IT!!!!!!!
Madison's team was coached by none other than............... Her dad... Good coaching there Mr. Kennamer:)
We won...... We are so proud of them. If you had seen us at the begining of the year you would have said no way!!! Paul is a super coach and was very patient and kind with the girls.
Kayla, Tysce, Gwen and I enjoyed a wonderful day in B'ham just chilling and watching ball games. We had so much fun...... I will post our winning picture when I download them from my camera.

Birthday Celebrations

As ALL of my blog readers know family is very very important to me. Yesterday was Paul's birthday and today was Donna's. We met for a birthday celebration at Granny and Papaw's house after church. After we ate, it was so pretty outside that we went out to play with the kids. Kayla found her old go-cart in papaw's garage and we just had to get it going. After two pulls Darrel and Paul were able to start it. It took about 15 minutes but we were ready to ride.
Well Mr. Ben decided he was going to fly across the pasture and impress us all.... OK so now lets make a long story short... Ben may have a couple of broken ribs. He turned a little to sharp and flipped the go cart over on himself. Yep. our excitement ended right then and there.
Well after that Uncle Darrel decided that we all needed to load up and go hiking. So guess what? We did. We went up to Knat mountain and took Granny and Paige the spot where Huck Finn was filmed. We had so much fun. Granny and Paige made it just fine. It was so fun. The kids stuck their hands in the water and jumped rocks.. Guess where my camera was? You guessed it... home. I forgot it. Perfect weather and perfect picture opportunities. MAN...... Well. we will have to do it again so...
We missed Andy and Amanda and Aunt Ann and Uncle Donna. I am guessing they had church so we understand. Amanda celebrated her birthday this past week also. Happy Birthday to her.
Well my new look is coming. I tried to link it and I have some HTML corrections to me so that it will have the exact look I am going for...

I need to BRAG a little

My baby girl won her basketball game this morning... She played well after being sick last week. We are on the road to recovery:)
Now another piece of news>>>>>>>>>>>>> P.R.V. is headed to the finals of the Area Tournament in Basketball..... They defeated the undefeated Valley Head Tigers last night!!! {At VH I might add} My sweet little {more than likely son in law} had 4 {count them 4} 3 pointers in the first two minutes of the game. We are VERY proud of him. They advance to the finals on Monday night and will face the Trojans of Athens Bible. Tysce is quickly becoming a permanent fixture at our house and we could not be more pleased. He is a great kid. He loves our daughter very much and that is all we can ask for. [I dont want him to think he has won my heart or anything but......]

New Look Coming

I am working on my new blog layout. I am having to design something using HTML for school so why not make it to my advantage. I am excited. I have been looking for something new but I do not like what it out there. I am learning all this new stuff so..
Update on the sick.........Madison ended up going back to school today. She had strep and an ear infection. We found out that a shot for strep does not do anything but minimize the symtoms. She had this back in December and it came back. The reason is she received a shot and not a round of antibiotics for it. It is called rebound strep?? She has a good round of anti going now so maybe???
Kayla is still hanging in there. She is to mean to get sick. The virus knows it is her and runs the other way:)
Bryant apparently had the 24 hour bug and is better. He was better by Sunday night. He has never thrown up and really did not understand what this was all about. Bless his heart.
Well maybe mom and dad will survive. The amount of hand washing and lysol"ing" that went on was enough to kill even the smallest germs.
Keep a look out for the new look. I am working hard.
